Issues Discussed:

  • One of the character designs is too similar to Dr. Strange and should be ammended
  • The woodland colours on the Archer work well
  • Fire particles in a game particle system usually start with an individual flame sprite, many of the individual flames together make the fire effect

Before next meeting:

  • Alexei - Continue working on the fire effect - learn the UE4 Particle System (look at the official Unreal Tutorials)
  • Sean - Finish concepts and create at least one set of orthographics
  • Ben - Enemy spawners, portal to the second area

Issues Discussed:

  • Don't spend too long on the proxy rig
  • Moving on to assets for prototype/white box
  • Work on the 'core' of the game - Do the enemies die? Can you get hit? Can you die? Game over?
  • Asset priority lists!!!

  • Ben - Work on player health/dying, work on AI hit delay
  • Sean - Concepts, orthographic drawings, start sculpt
  • Alexei - Rocks, work from asset priority list

Joint can be added to the skinned mesh via the added influence tool
The Warriors legs/feet are a little out of proportion to the arms/hand
